In many states, dating someone that young is illegal if you're engaging in sexual relations with him. There's nothing wrong dating someone with 5 year age gap, my brother and law and my sister have a 4/5 year age gap. I personally believe it depends when the relationship starts for the younger of the two. 15 is a very young age. They're not yet developed mentally, emotionally and it could be the cause of some immaturity. The fact that you feel guilty about being with him probably doesn't help the fact. If I were you, I'd break away from the relationship for a while until you feel that you're both ready.

I do believe it is wrong. My friend travis (21) is with this girl Kelsey (15) AND they're expecting a baby. She's 6 months pregnant. Whether they love each other or not, its wrong, and also illegal. I think you need to get out of this relationship fast. It won't last long anyways, hun. It'll only get you in trouble. Boys like to brag. And someones parent's are going to find out, and turn you in. Get out of there now.

if its love then let it be. it shouldn't matter about the age. if you truly love each other that should determine it. you will just have to be careful about what you do.

It isn't a matter of whether it's taboo, the fact is that it is Statutory Rape, and will send you to jail for a long time and put you on the Sex Offenders list. You will never leave the country, never be allowed within 100 feet of a playground or school, and whenever you move to a new house you have to tell your ENITRE neighborhood that you are a Sex Offender, whether you like it or not.
I know a guy that was 18 when his girlfriend was technically 14. He is a really nice guy who made a stupid mistake, I guess she was really mature for her age, and because she is a bitch his life is now ruined because he had to go to jail and get put on the list. Did he make a mistake? Yes. Did he deserve the punishment? Absolutely not. The justice system is fucked up that way. Now he will never do shit with his life and probably will never be able to hold down a job.

If you love him, and he loves you, there is nothing wrong with it. There is no point in breakign each others heart to get someone closer to your age. There is people married, been married for 30+ years that are 10+ years apart, age isn't nothing if you truly love the person, and you both understand the meaning of love.
Also to note, cases in which someone has done something with someone under 18, normally don't stick if the person is old enough to know what is going on, and consent to everything. And 16 is the age of consent in a few states.
So your safe, no need to feel gaulty.

i mean they love shouldnt be based on age but more maturity. so if u think a 15yr old is mature enough to be with you then i guess go for it. but too be honest i dont think he will be. :/

Depending on what you do, you can be charged with Child endangerment, custodial interference and if you have any pics of him, child pornography. If he is important to you, come back when he is 18

If his parents were to approve of this relationship, and she chose to get married with this young man, They would legally be capable of marrying in the majority of U.S states.
After that action was made, they would legally be allowed to engage in activity as they so please without any laws infringing on their life.

If you feel guilty about it, then it's probably wrong. If you two were to have sex, it would be illegal. I wouldn't date him anymore if I was you, but that's just my opinion.
