Does he like me?

So the guy I like is staying in Indiana until like, August to visit his relatives and family friends, and then he starts college this year, in a different state. So I'm really trying to figure this out.

last week we sent/received about 500 some odd texts, over like 4 days. we stayed up really late, both of us, to talk. and our conversations took like hours, and we were telling each other all these personal things and stuff you usually don't tell someone unless youre dating or close to it. he seemed happy to be talking to me for awhile. he told me he thought i was really pretty and surprised that i didn't have a boyfriend, and then somehow we got to the topic of other girls and he said he'd hook up with me if he was single (he has a girlfriend at the moment who is also away for the summer - not in indiana).

but then on friday he seemed like he was getting bored and randomly stopped texting me in the middle of the conversation (Even though he started it that day). So i texted him on sunday night and he gave a bunch of boring and blase answers, like 'haha cool' and 'yeah it is' and stuff like that, you know? and then sent me: 'mhmm 'i'm going to bed later' after about 10 texts total.

so the whole thing left me really confused, we went from sending 100+ messages a day to him randomly stop texting and then sounding bored of me. at first i thought he might have liked me, but then now i have no idea. what do you think? and what should i do?

well he did tell you he would hook up with you. that kinda ring some bells doesnt it ?

It might be possible that he got bored of that conversation on sunday, maybe he didnt have anything new and interesting to say to you, or he was busy doing something else. Give it some time. If you ''over-do'' conversation in one day, you kinda dont leave anything to talk about the other day.

Ok good haha yeah you're right, i shouldn't over do it. he keeps replying though so we don't stop lol. it's just hard to tell over text message though whether he likes me or not

haha yeah, they do take forever. but i'm afraid if he takes too long though and goes to college too soon
