There's a reason they charge $150. You cant do it yourself. Dont be a dick to people when you know yourself you'll have to pay.

i was just pulling your string man no harm ment. nobody but bmw can reprogram the stock secruity system. Nobody but bmw can even have a spare key made for your car. its not a bad thing for having the initiative to learn how to work on your car.

Pay them the 150 and then take the chip out of the key and secure it onto the lock cylinder because Aslong as that chip is within reading distance of that lock cylinder it will start...then you don't have to worry about ever again getting another chipped key...you can just buy the regular key
