what your reaction to sex talks with teachers? do u laugh or just wana hide?

I come from a very conservative area and no teachers talked about sex really.

But in college, there were a couple instances, The most memorable being one who told us that our grandparents likely still have sex.

I just sit there and listen because if my teachers are talking about sex, it's usually relevant to the lecture and is therefore educational.

Our class lol'd because it was like, 6th grade or something. Then most of our "sex talk" was "DON'T DO IT."

Never been much of a problem. We learnt the mechanics in year 6 and as a 11 year old it was a laugh. Over the next couple of years we learnt the serious side like contraception, sti/std, abortions etc and it wasn't really a laughing matter so it wasn't embarrassing or awkward or whatever.

edit: I just remembered in year 7, the p.e. teacher sometimes took the health lessons, and he was an funny teacher. As we were all immature 11/12 year old we spent a lesson 'getting all the laughs out' by playing drama type games with these new sexual terms we knew. For example we played this game, where everyone writes down a sexual term and put it into a hat and the teacher picks one out. He explains what it meant and the first person repeats the word. He picks another one talks about it and the second person repeats it and the has to remember the previous one. The third person says a new word and has to remember the previous words, you know that game. And it was brilliant because when some one forgot a word, the whole class had to stand up and shout the word they forgot. I remember everyone just shouting VAGINA! and how there was loads of people and teachers outside after the lesson wondering what the fuck was happening.

Personally, I never found sex talks with teachers funny. The only thing that ever made me want to hide was watching this movie that showed what the inside of a male orgasm looks like. Ugh. That was disgusting. Even the child birth scene wasn't as bad as that.

at my school they showed us every bad aspect of sex and none of the good... So we were all a bunch of 16 year old Virgins.

I remember learning about sex in 5th grade and getting SO red in the face. I thought I was going to pass out. Rofl, good times.

I had a health teacher my junior year of high school who said, "don't have anal sex. Its all fun and games until you loosen up your anus and you're shitting yourself in the middle of work. Seriously, you won't be able to hold your bowels." That was kind of funny.

Sex talks were never really a big deal. That one was a little over the edge, but whatever. Gotta learn about it somehow. It doesn't bother me, though. I never was embarrassed about something that is a common occurrence. I didn't really laugh either. I just listened and agreed to use protection or abstain or whatever the pledge of the year was.
