I wrote this to inspire someone. Perhaps you, too, can find something in it.
"Life...can be fickle.
There are four men: one lives luxuriously and takes for granted what he has. Another lives in poverty and appreciates everything he has. One has little in the way of trivial things, but finds passion and beauty in the things around him. The last finds little of anything to be had.
The first has everything he could ever need, but feels greed for what he doesn't. The second is content to live with barely everything he needs, but feels no envy for what he wants. The third loves all, but hates none. The last has a fire which burns in his heart: a fire of passion, and a fire of pain for what he has endured.
The first is a poor man, the second is very wealthy.
The third knows all pain, and loves it. He is an artist of his own making.
The last knows much pain, but hides it. He is a torturer of his own creation.
What would you rather be?"

Consider your options.
The first man has everything, but isn't happy.
The second has nothing, but makes do to find what he needs.
The third is truly happy, but bears the burden of empathy, feeling all the suffering of others.
The last feels for himself, and knows no happiness, and yet too often people will fit themselves to this description.
So I ask again, what would you rather be?Part of my own Radio Show/Podcast!

The third. One who is truly happy with himself, would want nothing more then to act on his empathy and to improve the lives of others.

Alot of people say the third.
Except one person said the first. That's quite interesting. You know this can tell alot about who a person is...Part of my own Radio Show/Podcast!

I want to be the second and the third. If you can be content with only what you have, even if it's nothing, you will always find happiness in life. And if you have empathy for others and feel their pain, you have the ability to end their pain as well and that will bring almost anyone happiness.
