    Default 2008 BMW

Looking at buying a 2008 BMW 3 series wagon. I really like it but I'm not sure how to take care of a BMW. Should I or should I not my other choice is a 2009 ford escape

If you can afford the BMW, go with it.
If not...get a Focus RS. XD
Some say he knows 2 facts about ducks and both are wrong.
    And that he blinks sideways.
All we know is...he's called the stig.

    Inquire inside.

BMWs are hard as fuck to work on.

So say hello to dealership costs, and dealership parts (Beamer parts will sometimes be hard to find..), and the payment for the car.

Is the BMW still under factory warranty? if so then get it. It wont be a big pain if you take good care of it. And besides if something happens before the warranty goes out then BMW will fix it at no charge. And BMW will cover normal, scheduled part replacements for you during the warranty. For example, they want the belt replaced every 30k miles, BMW will cover that no matter if the belt is bad or not.

    Don't buy the BMW.
If anything goes wrong, someone trained in BMW's has to take care of it, which will skyrocket your repair costs. I've never met someone who actually likes their BMW. And like Camaro said, dealership parts. Which always end up biting you in the ass.

I've got a BMW, the servicing costs are higher, but it's considered a "luxury" brand. You're paying a lot for the badge, as well. If you've got the money to run it and look after it properly you shouldn't have any issues.
