    While this is probably true, "real bullies" also don't classify their own behaviors as "mistreatment" in most cases. As a rule people who engage in bullying behaviors draw the line just below where they are. If they harass people who have traits they find annoying, then "real bullies" are people who "go after others for no reason". If they only use verbal insults and emotional harassment, "real bullies" are people who use physical violence or threats. If they preferentially target a specific group for abuse (nerds, racial minorities, non-cisgender people, etc.), then "real bullies" are the ones who target "real people". And so on and so forth.

    In short, bullies are rarely as self-aware about their bullying as this comment seems to suggest.

    I understand what you mean but at the very least they have to know it's not right to do what their doing at some level.

    In short, bullies are rarely as self-aware about their bullying as this comment seems to suggest.
