Your outdoor portraiture stuff is pretty nice. Not something I've done a whole lot of - and something on my 'to-practice' list. Your portraits have a confident, 'professional' feel to them (I don't just mean high quality - I'm talking about composition, lighting, the model's poses etc). That's not the case across the board, and of course there are some weaker images, or some where I'm wondering what the point in that image was - but overall I like your work in that area.

If I could say one thing, and that would be to try some 'weirder' stuff. You have one quite good example of what I'm talking about - the person wearing what looks like corpsepaint. The images, while being nice etc, are relatively 'safe' images. And that's fine if that's what the client wants, but if you're shooting on your own time, or doing portfolio work for models, the less 'safe' your images can be, generally the better. Carries a higher risk of them turning out crap, but that's just life.

You want to see some of my weirder stuff? =) To be honest the "weirder stuff" would be my dream to pursue over most of what I do now. But that is my photography page and not to many people are interested in getting weird photos. They want weddings, senior portraits, and well just normal pictures of themselves that they cant get with there cell phones. Which I am sure you understand. I appreciate your response.

When I did more photography like the corpse paint, I wasnt serious about photography so the photos are way worse then what I am doing now. I would like to do more art like that however, it is more interesting and fun.
