    Default Interested in Greek life

I have found a sorority at my school that I'm interested in. I didn't really know about them until last week because they're underground as my school doesn't allow Greek life (it's a small, Catholic school) but I've now been introduced to the sorority and went to an informal event they had and have read their website and all that jazz. They're holding a formal informational night on Sunday which I will be attending and they said to bring any questions I have. I'm wondering, what sorts of questions should I have? Also, anyone been involved in low key Greek life like I'm assuming this is? Thanks!

I'm Greek and love it. Going Greek was probably one of the best decisions of my life and I truly mean that. Ask them about their philanthropy and what being Greek means to them. It's always awesome to see a girl go through recruitment that asks questions. You can also ask about getting involved within the sorority such as leadership positions and if new members can obtain a position.

Look up the chapters that are at your school and research them. Don't take in the stereotypes or negative things you may rread about the organization though

I have no idea what you mean by that...

Anyway, I went to the informational and it was good. I got a lot of good info and I'm definitely interested in pursuing this.

I joined a local sorority rather than one that has a national affiliation and it was the best decision I made. My pledging process was actually easier than any of the nationally recognized sororities on campus. It was longer, but compared to other sororities, we had it easy.

Not sure where you get your info.

I just went to another event today and met a ton more interests, TIARAs and sisters and it was really awesome. And I found out that in the fall I can become a TIARA (official interest) and then I'll hopefully cross in the spring!
