Looking for a peace based religon.

I've been looking for a peace based religon for a while, but I can't seem to find one that fits me. I believe in animals and creatures being equal. I try my best to be kind to all people. I suppose I need a religon without a god. I was a Christian, but that was because I was raised that way, the more I thought, and do think, about it, it doesn't make sense, and part of it is hypocrytical. I tried Buddhism, but I'm not a good Buddhist xD I can't even follow the main precepts, plus I don't believe in reincarnation. I don't kill anything from people to bugs and plants, I'm a vegetarian too. Also I would like to believe in an after life, but I have doubts and I don't know what to think. That's another reason I want to find a new religon. I want something that is peace based and gives me something to follow by, to keep strong by. I feel that I will be stronger if I know my place in the belief system. I respect all peacful religons, so if any Christians are mad at me for this thread, I didn't mean to insult any of you, or say anything wrong, and I'm sorry, and any religon suggestions would be great. :]

y do u need to belong to a specific organized religion? if u believe in jesus just try to live like he did aka be a good person treat all creatures with respect believe in heaven as well u dont need to belong to a religion to go to heaven

You could be one of those "nature is god" people. Pantheism? I think that's what it's called.

i used to be a gnostic christian before i stopped believing in god. gnostic christianty is based around the idea of escaping from ignorance instead of sin and repenting i would suggest you check it out

I don't need to, I just always worry about things, and when I was a christian, it made me feel better knowing everything was going to be alright, but I just started feeling like I was lying to myself.
