I am 19 years old and havent finished 12th grade because I just had a baby. I can do a GED but i wont be able to take it til June-July and it costs 150$, if i mess up I have to pay another 150$ to take the portion I failed. Or I can start up my online highschooling at like K-12 or Connections Academy. What would be your choice?

I would do highschool schooling, because you would get a highschool deploma when you finish from this online schooling. Were as GED you just pass and spend lot of money if you fail and then you can do community college for while; then try and get into a better school. I am about to do the online schooling next year so it fits my schedule better, and other reasons. My sister failed the GED 3 times already so if you do that study hard. Just do what you think is best for you.

Online schooling.

Getting your GED is the easiest thing ever. It's basically all common sense. The answers are in the questions for the most part.
The only thing you really have to study for is the second part of the math test. If I remember correctly, there's statistics, mean/median/mode, graphs, charts, geometry, and percentage.
They gave us papers with regular math formulas. I'm in Connecticut, I'm not sure if they do that in every state. Memorize the formulas just in case.
I strongly recommend getting your GED. It's the quickest and most efficient way to finish regular schooling.Your heart is a muscle the size of your fist.

I always go by which weighs more as far as the Value of the piece of paper. Is the Online going to stand as a Regular/Legit High School Diploma or is the GED going to hold more weight to it?

I would say GED. But that seems to be a hit or miss, I've known people who didn't study and did it several years after they left school and passed, whereas I also know people who have taken it 5+ times with no success.
Online schooling is quite honestly the worst idea ever. I did it, I was on it for 11-12th grade. I never finished. When you sign up they fail to tell you that its so easy to get distracted with it. I'd have class sessions where we'd log on for like a video chat for a few hours a week but those were not required (which I think they should have been) so other than those brief encounters you don't have a teacher basically they give you a shit ton of reading material and say 'here teach yourself' and with my schooling we didn't have due dates. I mean we did, but they weren't set in stone so nothing was counted as late ever. If it wasn't in by the end of the semester then oh well that was that.
Then not to mention the fact that you're still technically in schooling so you'll have the mindset of wanting to be in a classroom. At first you'll fine but after a couple months the whole concept of the schooling will start irritating you and you'll hate the choice you made.
Plus you have a child, which would just add to the list of distractions. Which furthers the GED argument.
There is no difference in a GED or high school diploma not one means more, maybe in the past sure but this day in age they are the same piece of paper.I know that the world is not going to end in 2012 because Marty McFly traveled to 2015.

Perhaps depending on the Area. Where I live in the Chicago Area there is a difference. Even in the Military if you have a GED you HAVE to take some College Courses before Joining, unlike a HSD.

Your decision really depends on your situation. Personally, online classes are better easy and straight forward where I'm from (NC) and you can pretty much just search all the answers online. Trust me, I know, having taken two honors classes and even a few AP courses online through NCVPS. But that's really for you to decide.
