Heres what to do: next time they say it say " yep, you say that everyday. Want a medal?" or just smile and sigh like pfft.

Bullies are bullies, and there's no way to get around them. Ignoring it will make you miserable, but if you stop giving them a reaction long enough, they'll stop harrassing you.
That, or stick it to em and stand up for yourself. When I got cussed out by a girl at lunch this year, I didn't act phased by it. I simply told her "I tell the truth, and I stand up for what I believe is right. If you want to keep criticizing me for doing the right thing, go right ahead. There's administrators about ten feet away from you, though." She shut up and walked away. She never verbally harassed me again, though she gave me awful, threatening looks everyday.
Just be like "I know what happened, and you don't."
