Actually, it isn't too bad right now. It could me MUCH better if I was in a v6 or a 4-cylinder, but for a v8 she isn't too bad. It's something about the Corvette motors... they are very efficient for their size! When she is up to date on maintenance, and I don't speed race everywhere (Which is rarely... but still), she gets pretty close to 30 highway. And I knoww! it's about 3.90 here. I've actually been considering getting a street bike for the summer to save on gas.
And I will go check that

Yeah a few of my american friends have considered a bike as well. I dunno...I wish I had the cash to get myself a slick hybrid. Tesla is coming out with a new model called the Tesla Model S that is fully electric and a base price of like 50k, which is amazing because the car could easy go for 70 or 80k base. Not sure if you're into the whole hybrid/electric car thing though

Yeah, I was kind of looking into the Suzuki Hayabusa; it's the fastest production bike out there. It's a 1300 CC, 300 hp bike, and it still gets about 40 mpg. I was like

But I've run into Tesla stores a couple of times, and I like them. I just don't quite UNDERSTAND them, but that is alright. Something new to learn!"I've always felt that Chevrolet made

Ermmmh... Anywhere from 9-13k. /:
I've seen the Tesla at the raceways a couple times up here, and they've impressed me. It's kind of like, "Why is an electric car-" *Poof* Gone (<--Poof because they are quiet xD). But I've also seen the prices on them... They're still nice, none the less!
And Right?

Hey, camaro...you seem to know your cars, so I have a question for you. I want a fuel efficient reliable car. Nothing expensive, something that will just allow me to drive far (150 miles) twice a week. I was thinking a honda or a toyota. Are those the best for what I'm looking for?

Eesh.
As much as I do not condone buying foreign (Depending on where you live...)
I would recommend Subaru. Maybe a Legacy or a Justy. Older. You can pick one up for less than a grand, they are cheap to repair, and they are pretty gas efficient. Any import is going to be a good D.D, Subarus just seem to be the cheapest. (<--Even though I hate imports for anything more then a putt putt car.)
Hope this helped

Oh, well what do you recommend? It doesn't have to be imported, I just thought those were the best? Lol

I mean, I know you recommended a Subaru, but which is the best car (domestic or imported) for what I'm looking for? I thought domestic cars were crappy

Oh gosh no, I am more of a domestic person all the way...
And I have the satisfaction of having better quality AND supporting my country's economy.
Many people say import is better because they 'get all this gas mileage' or 'They last for so long, my Subaru has 300k miles!", As if saying this is a feat an American car can never accomplish... My boyfriend's father owns a S-10 blazer that is pushing 333k miles, and my own father has a V8 3rd gen Camaro that is at 225,000 miles, and still runs like new. EVERY car can last, as long as you take care of it.
What is your price range?"I've always felt that Chevrolet made
