All of the books by Sarah Dessen should be made into movies.
Twilight movie sucked; ruined everything for me. Sometimes I think the same thing about Vampire Diaries.
All of the Nicholas Sparks novels that have been turned into movies are awesome.

The Hunger Games never should have been made. It was possibly the worst book-to-film adaptation I've ever seen.

The last four Harry Potter films sucked ass, too, but I won't say that they shouldn't have existed, because the first four (especially Goblet Of Fire) were worth it.

I really hope Stephen Fry's The Liar gets made into a film soon; he's supposedly been working on it for years now.
