    Default Transfer Students

Who else is transferring/has transferred? I'm transferring from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL) to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They have a great psychology department and better prestige to offer.

Why are you transferring/why did you transfer? I hate my college because it's small. It's in a shitty ass, poverty-stricken town and the school is so small that there's NOTHING to do on campus...not even off campus, really. I hate seeing the same people everyday. Thing is, I didn't know I wouldn't like a small school. I thought having one on one time with the teacher would be better, but it's not. A small campus is just NOT for me.

I transferred because of the education's low quality in my previous school. Now my current school is beneficial and seems really fun, not only that I learn quite a lot. I do think that it's not the matter of how well your environment is but how much knowledge you can have in a certain school. Well it's because mine is just small yet the quality is really beyond something.

I'm transferring as well, from University of Northern British Columbia to Lethbridge College. Main reason I went to UNBC in the first place was because I had received a four year scholarship.

When I found out they didn't offer the course I wanted (Criminal Justice), I was discouraged but was talked into taking a year of General Studies. I took a semester and loved the school, but just couldn't justify paying living costs for courses that weren't pertinent to my desired degree, so instead of finishing the year I packed it up and headed home. I've been working ever since, and am really excited to start school again this fall.

This guys' got contingency plans for his contingency plans, its like we're battling a super villain.

I'm transferring from a JC in California to Washington State University. I am transferring because it was much cheaper to complete my first 2 years there. WSU has a great Kinesiology program and a prep program for Occupational Therapy.

I am extremely nervous but really excited as well. Hopefully there will be opportunities to make friends as a Junior.
