Why Do People Hate Justin Bieber?

This is a question that is puzzling me for a long while. For the main reason that just because you dont like him for some odd reason, doesnt mean you cant like his music. He is also how old 17-18 and since he started singing people all over the world were questioning his sexual orientation which is horrible. Would you like the world to be talking about your sex life on the internet?! Those saying about who would vote for him to jump off a bridge and all that crap is harsh and kind of upset me. I mean Chris hit Rianna but he is still being listened to.... It just boggles my mind so please answer my query.... Thanks!

People hate Justin Bieber for many reasons, here are a few:

- His vocal range is WAY to high for a guy that is 17 years old.

- He sings preppy pop with a mixture of some wonky hip hop. People who really listen to music and have a good feel for it generally prefer rock, metal or alternative. Especially where I come from, so to hear his brand of obnoxious singing is quite distasteful.

- I don't care what you might try to say, there is no PASSION in his music. I don't mean passion like screaming the word baby over and over and over and over again. I mean real passion that an Artist has to have to put real thought and emotion into the lyrics he writes. I highly doubt that Justin Bieber even writes his own music.

- Back in the good day in music, the rock & roll era, Artists had to write their own lyrics, play an instrument at least decently good, and sing. Justin Bieber cannot do any of those things.

Why do people hate Justin Bieber you ask? Because he has no real talent. And believe me when I say were tired of seeing people like him. Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Olsen Twins, Britney Spears, the list goes on and on. The honest truth is that, like all the others, Justin Bieber is just a fad, and like all the others, will go away in time. I guarantee it.

Because he has no talent, his songs are written for him, he just sings 'em I know loads of teen singers better than him,. He's only famous for knowing usher. He's also not that attractive, and has no right to be famous. He's just famous through others, such-as Miley Cyrus being talentless only famous for her father.

I hate it when people get on a soapbox because they think what they like is superior. Just because you don't enjoy that genre does not mean it is not music, and it does not mean the people that like it don't know what music is or have no feel for it. Get off your high horse.

It's also ignorant to claim hate for someone just because you think they're talentless. Are you entitled to think their music is garbage? of course you are. But if you have never met that person, you can't honestly say you hate them.

I don't like his music. But I also don't walk around with my head up my ass saying, "justin bieber is gay he sounds like a girl what i listen to is ttly better than that hurr durr". It's not that hard to just pretend he doesn't exist.

I think it inwardly stems from jealousy. Whenever I mention Justin Bieber, a group of my guy friends immediately start insulting him, saying he's gay, looks like a girl, etc. They have no real evidence to back it up. So why do I think it's a jealousy issue? Because they do the same thing when I mention Taylor Lautner, Rob Patt, Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Ryan Gosling, or any of the Jonas Brothers....
I honestly think that guys are (subconsciously) jealous of the fact that millions of girls are in love with him. They can't handle it.
As for the girls, they're just following the pack.
Basically, most people are selfish & don't think for themselves anymore-- they get jealous when people swoon over a celebrity they'll never get, and when they hear someone say they hate somebody, they jump on the bandwagon before they have a chance to give them a chance. It's sad, really.

For an example:
My ex boyfriend hated Justin Bieber. Anytime I mentioned him or listened to him, out came the insults. I ignored it. When Justin's movie came out, I begged to go see it, but we didn't. So when it came out on DVD, he hesitantly bought it for me. I asked him to watch it with me.
By the end of the movie, he was different (as cheesy as that sounds.) I asked him what he thought, and he actually loved it. He still didn't like most of his music, but he said he gained a ton of respect for Justin and actually began to like him as a person. He even sang along to a few songs with me after that. He even asked if he could keep the movie when we broke up. Haha.
Basically, people hate him for no real reasons. If they actually looked past the surface and got to know more about him, they wouldn't be the same way. Unless they're just cynical.
Justin went from nobody to the guy on teen girls' walls in a matter of months. People are going to hate him for living his dream his entire career. Oh well.

i don't think people necessarily "hate" him. i just think a lot of people make fun of him because he's an easy target to make fun of haha. also, his music appeals basically almost only to preteen/teenage girls so anyone who is not in that category will not find his music pleasing. personally, i think he's a little cutie with an abnormally high voice for his age but i will go as far to say that i think he's talented. i remember watching videos of him on youtube when he was like 12 and i think he has a lovely voice. i don't really listen to that hip hop/pop kinda music but not gonna lie, he has a couple catchy songs that i enjoy blasting in the car with my girlfriends haha
