Of course, many people against welfare are going to listen to Republicans and claim most people on welfare are lazy. To them, poor people deserve to be poor because they're lazy and refuse to get a job. It's as if they think they know each individual person's situation to know why they're on welfare.
I doubt some of these people claiming all people on welfare are lazy, probably grew up around rich people. People born into rich families don't understand how poor people feel, or what they're dealing with. They feel they've earned every bit of it, but truth is, if people were paid money based on how hard of work they did, women working in Africa would be millionaires. It's just big billionaire corporations are putting shit into people's heads. Billionaire corporations not paying taxes, or less taxes than everyone else isn't going to help the economy. These people can care less if the rest of us have jobs, because the only thing on their mind is keeping their money.

OK, we get it, the poor in America are doing OK. However, by developed world standards, we have a considerably low generalized standard of living for our GDP and it's true that most of our money is thrown away on the military while other governments invest more in social services. I get it that America has unfortunately fell down into a "police of the world" role that it must follow, but it sadly is an expenditure of money that is reflected in how people in the states live. Considerably worse than, say, people in goddamned France.

Man's governments cannot solve any big problem. They just make it worse. But thankfully God promises that he will solve these problems and mankind will live peacefully under God's government!

This sounds perfectly well and all, but we are not looking at the big picture. Pouring more money in the education system that is already broken will not solve the education crisis it will just make it worse. We need a fundamental change in our education system and end the curriculum tactics of teaching the test to the students. Furthermore the "No Child Left Behind Act" should also be abolished from the school system it had literally killed the quality of education that children were getting prior to the act and we should replace it with teaching our kids how to become entrepreneurs and more creative with their hopes and dreams while providing them with the proper academics we all need. Lastly on this education crisis we need to end tenure for teachers who don't deserve it and place them on performance metrics this will give them the push they need to provide our children the proper education they deserve. Now to discuss your "Import/Export Tax" this will never solve anything as far as shipping jobs overseas if the tax is still cheaper and easier than building a business here in America companies are still going to ship jobs overseas and the only people who are going to suffer are the consumers in America. We need to simplify the creation of jobs and businesses here in America and lower the taxes for small businesses so they can invest in their businesses and invest in hiring more employees. It is extremely difficult for a small business to invest in their own dream because they have to worry about how much they owe in taxes but they also have to worry about complying with workforce rights there is so much legislation on the books about these two main issues and its so complex that its easier just to ship the job away. If you're that concerned about the economy we all need to simplify how things work around here or things will not get better.

I think you know, deep down, this isn't even remotely close to the truth. People are gung ho on rooting for their country's social welfare provisions or mechanisms for the poor as being adequate. It's never adequate when equated to the respective standard of living in most cases.

the government is messed up, there are people out there literally homeless... the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. maybe if people actually cared about one another they'd help eachother out... people are so selfish
