For some reason you seem to be trying really hard to get people's respect, or at least anger them, but all you're really getting is their pity.
I suppose being thought of as weak and pitiable is better than not being thought of at all, but it's still kind of saddening to watch.![]()

Laughable. Most of this is stolen and repackaged.
9. Without Satan, the Church would have nothing to go against.
Church is not going against anything. Satan is going against the Church.
Anyway this is false satanism 101. It's watered down nonsense. This Satanism does not live up to satan in the bible. Good day.La shai'a waqi'on motlaq bal kollon momken.

That's the point........it's not meant to be Satan from the Bible, he's just a symbol

That was my assumption as well. Then I looked it up and found that her interpretation wasn't far off the mark; it really does seem like a religion designed by and for angsty teenagers. Specifically, the kind who rant about how evil their parents are because they make them do chores and punish them when they do antisocial shit like drawing cocks on the living room wall.

It may seem that way, but it kind of reminds me of Nietzsche

Because prior to opening this thread for the first time I didn't know much about Satanism. Though I'm not particularly religious, I have a fair amount of respect for most religions and am open to learning about new ones. Upon looking into Satanism's tenets I found myself disappointed, but still hung around to discuss the issue. And that was when I noticed a kid bragging about how brilliant and awesome he is to complete strangers, proclaiming his innate superiority over anyone who doesn't follow his religion, and generally behaving like someone who is profoundly insecure about their value as a person. So I commented, in the no doubt vain hope that it might encourage you to reconsider your actions.
It seems more akin to Objectivism to me. Nietzsche originated many of the main ideas, but didn't take them to the same batshit extreme as some of those who came after him.
Let's just play it safe and go with "I'm (Not) A Believer", to the tune of Smash Mouth/The Monkees.
I thought God was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me
Life was out to get me, that's the way it seemed
Self-rejection haunted all my dreams
Then I saw His face
Now I'm (not) a believer
Lots of space
For doubt in my mind
It's a mirage
I'm (not) a believer
I couldn't see Him

Of course. I'm not too versed in the Nietz-Nietz myself, but some of his ideas seem interesting at least. I should get on that.
And I always thought you were agnostic, but I saw you recently called yourself atheist somewhere. I guess being ambiguous is probably best.Ask me anything and you shall learn

As far as labels go, I'm becoming fond of Ignosticism. Atheism and agnosticism just don't seem like meaningful terms when you consider that the notion of a "god" can refer to everything from the easily countered traditional Judeo-Christian conception, to the unfalsifiable and virtually meaningless Deist conception, to the basically undeniable neurotheological conception.

I would say we all are, or should be, ignostics in the obvious sense that our view of God will depend on how he God is defined. Atheist and agnostic assume that God is defined as theists traditionally do, but if you weaken the conditions on what is God just about everyone will agree there is such thing. Though of course then you just annoy the religious believers who mean something very specific by "God."

Even Christians have a number of different characteristics in mind when they talk about God. For instance, many liberal Christians contend that God is a largely noninterventionist "watchmaker God" and that the tales of his exploits in the Bible are allegory, while many fundamentalists would argue that the Bible is the literal word of God and that he has intervened in the human world a number of times (Noah's flood, the burning bush, messing with biologists' findings in order to "test" them, etc.). This makes a substantial difference with regard to plausibility and falsifiability. And that's just one religion of many; look into non-Abrahamic religions like Hinduism or paganism and the notion that every religious person sees their god(s) the same exact way falls apart like a house of cards in a wind tunnel.

That's very true, though a bit besides the point. While many Christians disagree on what exactly God is, each individual one has a more or less consistent definition. My point was that if you're talking to a fundamentalist believer(probably of any faith), and you say you're not an atheist because you accept that the God that the more liberal types believe in (the closer to deism they get, the easier it is to believe), they will just be annoyed at you for what they see as misusing the term "God." Plenty of the more conservative believers even tell you that liberal christians aren't really believers.

Sometimes, I dreamed about having sex with a sexy Christian and a lovely Satanist at the same time in the same bathtub. Yeah, threesome...some people called it threesome. Three religions ( I'm a Buddhist, but not a good one) could be burned as one some day in the bathroom...see you in Hell..pretty girls!

Finally someone who actually knows what satanism is. I'm not a Satanist but I've known some in my time as I have friends involved in the vampire subculture and some of them have are indeed proper satanist's. The fact that they are in both categories is mere coincidence.
I don't follow Christian nor Satanist religions however.
