    Default Car Audio

Not really sure if anyone will read this, but I'm pretty heavily into the car audio scene here in Alabama and it's really something fun but also expensive to get into. Just wanted to post these pictures up of my truck and the system that I had in it. Actually pulled this setup out last week and am doing a complete rebuild with all new products that should be even nastier than this one was. Let me know what you think.

New speaker pods in the dash that replaced where 4"x6" speakers went. Rockford T152-S components went into each pod.

Q-Logic Kick panels, each has a Rockford T1652-S component in it.

Crossovers for the components on the driver's side, mounted on the box.

    Hifonics ZXi80.4, powering all components.

Shot of the box. 2 Sundown SA-10 Dual 4s wired down to 1ohm. Box is 2.5 cubes tuned at 35hz.

    Another picture of the box.

Hifonics BRZ2400D for the subs, 1 ohm load.

DC Power PRO 280 amp alternator

    Stinger SP1500D

Two runs of 1/0 going into the truck to distribution blocks, 300 amp fuses.

Let me know what yall think. A lot of money/work went into this build and I'm quite proud of it.

just one question. besides competitions, do you find any practical use for so much audio equipment?

Scaring the living hell out of people when they sit in my truck with all the bass, except unlike most people you see who just throw subs in their cars and think it's fun to ride around with nothing but bass drowning out music, I have the mids/highs and amp power to where you can actually still hear music over the bass.

I do not, a good friend of mine did this build for me due to work/school consuming all of my time. I'm actually doing a new box/amp rack and putting an alarm on it this week. Should have some pictures/videos to follow shortly.

Thanks, I'm planning on throwing a few more videos up soon. It's actually at the my friends house right now and I'm doing 1 15" on an IA 20.1 (same amps Tommy Mckinnie uses in his truck) full Incriminator Audio setup, I'm anticipating it to be even nastier than the 10"s.

check out dd and mmats audio, im a co-owner of synergy audio and thats wat we carry. all we deal with is top of the line shit, if it starts going down the hole we will get rid of that brand. of our 150 db customers we currently have a 98 s10 blazer walled with 2 dd9518s powered by 4 dd m3 amplifiers 6000-7000watts a pair strapped at 2 ohm (which we have been told to stap at 1 or 1/2 ohm by the company for a surprising amount of power) but they are doing a 157 and still gaining, second is a 2001 s10 blazer 2 door with 4 mmats 12" juggurnauts and a american bass vfl500 clamped at 6500watts if i remember right and he hits 152.5. we also have up and coming another wall of 8 yes 8 memphis pr 15s amp is still in the thought process

we dont fool around at synergy audio, our van is in progress but i am positive it will do at least 162db if it doesnt beat 159 we will tear it apart and rebuild due to not beating our last demo vehicle
