yeah it's not original in the slightest, but i always thought it looked pretty and i thought the birds on my back were a bit too small, so i got it extended.

That's gorgeous. Reminds me of the illustrated story book 'The Conductor' by Laëtitia Devernay where the conductor turns the leaves into birds with the music. Beautiful book, highly recommended. Once again, wonderful tattoo.
