Yes I do which is why I think I will actually have a shot of going since Uruguay is right under Brazil .

& I know. I'm glad I finally know someone who actually keeps up with soccer news and such. None of my friends are into soccer :|

That's awesome! As much charm as Brazil has, I've always wanted to visit Montevideo. I watched a documentary recently about a 77 year old Uruguayan man who began participating in Decathlons when he was 70. Crazy story, yet his home seemed so welcoming.

I'm always glad to discover someone who appreciates the value of a low-scoring sport haha. Despite the fact that my job is soccer-intensive and I've spent my entire life around the sport, most of my close friends aren't into it. Did you grow up playing?

Montevideo is a really great place to visit . Busy city and greeeeat food haha. There are other places, like Punta Del Este, which is a great vacation spot and it's really peaceful. Gotta love Uruguay (:

I play it with family or for fun but I never went out for a team. I'm more of a spectator than a player - even though when I was younger I used to be so athletic that seemed to change once I entered high school haha.

What is a common Uruguayan dish? Like, what sets it apart from Argentine or Brazilian cuisine?

Argentine and Uruguayan cuisine is for the most part the same. A typical Uruguayan food is chivito. It's just like a lot of meat, bacon, cheese, onions, eggs and it's absolutely delicious <3 haha. It can also be eaten as a sandwich but it's usually only made that way in Uruguay. There's also Parillada, which is also Argentine and it's all sorts of meat and it's to die for . I was a vegetarian for 2 years and when I stopped it was my number one craving haha.
