1990 Ranger 2.3L 2WD, has some kind of exhaust leak that I traced to this weird hair dryer shaped device coming off the exhaust manifold.

I'm genuinely surprised. It's rare that you hear of some kid wrecking a car that has way too much power for a beginner driver that their mommy and daddy bought them and said accident is not their fault entirely.
