Hey guys. Question.
I had my profile looking incredibly simple, but nice.
My background was black. All the information with my picture/age/mood (the stuff in that rectangle) was showing but the rest didn’t show up. Underneath the picture, I had a white scroll box with black text that contained all my information that I typed up myself.

However, I just messed everything up experimenting and realized I don’t have the code saved anywhere (way to think ahead, right?) and don’t remember how I got my profile to look like that months ago. Could someone set me up with a code, or at least a place I can go to learn again?

Thanks for the info. I have my profile disabled and have never bothered to try and make a simple one or fancy it up, but I think I might change that and when I do I will definitley need this.

Click here for a screenshot


Go on YouTube.

Click Share

Then click Embed

Then tick the box Use old embed code

After that, click in the box that says Customised and enter 900

Now, go to the code for the video (The orange box) and right click it.

Finally, click Copy, then go to any part of your profile in the Editing section and paste the code to wherever you want it.

Use a different image. The image you are trying to use is not valid. Also, make sure there's no spaces in the code.

Like this: URL="Image.jpg" NOT: URL=" Image.jpg "

Go on YouTube as normal, click Share, the Embed, then click Use old embed code. Now copy all of that code thats shown.

Now, put it where you want it in your profile. Now, in the code you'll see two sets of numbers. Something like this:

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GUEZCxBcM78?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GUEZCxBcM78?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

In the code, look for width="number" and height="number" change the width to 450 and the height to 30. Remember, there is two sets of these numbers so you'll have to do it twice.

Finally, go to the part of the code where it says this:

embed src="wwwyoutubecom/v/GUEZCxBcM78?version=3&hl=en_US

The /GUEZCxBcM78 will be different, that's the YouTube video URL. Anyway, add onto the end of this part:

&autoplay=1

So it looks like this now

embed src="wwwyoutubecom/v/GUEZCxBcM78?version=3hl=en_US&autoplay=1

There's also 2 of these to do, just be aware.
