Default Skate Photog - November 2009

Me and Dom and my friend Dion went to Battleground Skatepark in Battleground, WA and shot some photos. Got some sick ones I believe, heres a few. Mildly edited in Lightroom.

All shots were taken with a Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5 lens, attached was a wide angle fisheye screw on attachment.

    Iso - 800
    Aperture - 6
    Shutter Speed - 600
    Exposure - -.2

    Backside 180 - 2 flat 2 set - Dom

Frontside Lipslide - Ledge - Dom

    Kickflip - 2 flat 2 set - Dion

    Heelflip - 2 flat 2 - Dom - slightly more editing

Frontside Ollie - Dom - lots more editing.

Pretty sick man, It's pretty hard to get shots of people doing anything on a skateboard.

Seeing these makes me miss skating.

I do not wish to "show off." I wish to progress in the field of photography.

Looks like those who take this seriously do not deserve the attention of this ridiculous fucking forum.

Wow these are really good, I've tried taking pictures of my friends skating, and it's really hard sometimes. I want your fish eye lens, I have one, but its in my moms closet until Christmas.....

Where did you get your fish-eye attachment?
I've been trying to find something without shelling out $800 for a lens

    Nice.
Your skating photography turned out better than mine.
Of course, the people that I was photographing weren't really doing a whole lot of skating because it was like...50 degrees or colder.

Yeah, unfortunately, the little rubber things around the trucks and wheels and shit...somewhere in that area...got completely busted up on my husband's skateboard, so he couldn't do a lot of skating. It was also pretty difficult for me to stay out in that weather and try to manipulate myself into good positions at the skatepark. I happen to be rather pregnant, so it was rather uncomfortable. It sucked.

You're welcome to critique and give me advice though.
