Yeah, I'm not majoring in PolSci or International Relations but I had to take a class in it today and my Prof implied that GWB was a realist and that stated realists are only concerned with getting more power (the only power realists are concerned with is military power in her opinion) and are not interested in the inner workings of states. I almost questioned her, but I honestly have no interest in rebuking a professor.

I am utterly sick of social science classes.

IIRC a better classification of GWB would have been neorealist. I'd have called her on that.

Is this a lower level or an upper level course? Rebuking the professor, in an educated and thought out manner of course, is usually a great thing to do in class. Or at least challenging their perspective. The worst that could happen is she'll know there's someone intelligent out there and will probably help you along the way.

Or you can get a professor who has a hissy fit when you say negative things about Marx.

I prefer Star Wars and Lord of the Rings quotes, but I won't judge you mate.
