I managed to use the stanley knife without cutting anything off last night, but at least the rotary is retractable. The blade only comes out when you squeeze the handle though, my mother bought it specifically for that reason because clearly she has so much faith in me

Omg. Teenspot looks so different. And my thread was still right at the top like the good old days. =)
Hope everyone's doing alright.I'm gonna keep walking
Though it may seem far
I'm gonna keep reaching
When life gets too hard
Not gonna let you bring me down
I'll take the high road

It doesn't look like the message boards are as popular as they used to be. That's quite sad.

1.35 miles non-stop. Though it was more of a fast walk/slow jog than a run.
30 minutes, 248 calories.
I should really be tracking what I eat, just to know if I have a calorie deficit at all.

I swear to God if you're pregnant I will hunt you down and kick your ass. Of all of the stupid people who have gotten pregnant lately you are on the top of that list (well, at least tied with Stacey).
If you can't even handle a relationship how are you going to handle a kid?

Fuck you Racer. You sent me an article that's missing a page. And then you cancelled my 'order' for another article.

My back hurts.
Sewing isn't helping my posture any.

How are you sewing? Sitting on the floor or at a table or what?

I like to keep it all about the same beat of the song. Something with a rhythm like Beat It by Michael Jackson is probably the closest to what I'm currently doing. I actually might get that song...
I can't find a free website to downlad songs. And I don't have the cash to get a bunch of new songs either.
You should probably stand and cut the fabric at like a counter or something. Or take breaks to get up and stretch if it takes a long time. If you wreck your back it sucks.

These are some that i like to work out to, generally the louder the more i get into what I'm doing.
I use video2mp3.net to convert mine from youtube.
It depends on what I'm doing, i don't sit in the same place for too long. I think my back just disagreed with standing at the bunker for ages pressing fabric and then sitting marking out a half ton of squares.

1.58 miles, 30 minutes, 290 calories. And 50 sit ups, just because.
I should really just get a blog or journal or something to write this in.

Seriously lost the will to live pressing that pile of squares.
Planning on laying it out like that...I'm just waiting on a bit of fabric to come in the mail so i can finish the middle squares.
I'm not sure i like the purple fleece squares though, they're a bit too dark for my liking but i don't have anything to replace it with other than white fleece.
I can't decide whether I'm going to sew the three layers together and finish the edges with binding or whether I'm just going to sew it face down and then turn it inside out. The second is deffinitely easier but i like the look of a bordered blanket...not that Lexi's going to care. She'll more than likely drag it along the floor, spill juice on it, and then steal her sisters fleecey blanket.

I like the dark purple squares. I think if they were lighter the pink ones in the middle would look too dark. I think as long as the middle bit that your missing is lighter but not like white then it will look fine.

The pink isn't as dark as it looks in the picture, it's kind of hot pink with butterflys on it.
The material that's lying in the middle is for half of the center squares, I just haven't gotten round to cutting them out yet.
I'm just debating what to use for the binding.
Do you think you could use ribbon?

I'm pretty sure fleece is really finicky. I don't think ribbon will work to actually keep the pieces together, if you're talking about using it instead of thread. Bu6t if after you were done and you poked holes and kind of laced ribbon through it it might look cute
