I think that's what i disliked about it, I'm all for books that make you use your imagination and make you think...but that was just a bit too over the top for my tastes. It's taken me a few months to get through it.

Pissed my Mum off by taking over the telly downstairs all day to watch the Olympics.
She wasn't here when i turned it on so tuff shite one her.
Totally excited for Yannick of France though, he's already won a gold and gave Michael Phelps a good run on the 4x200m relay.

The 'news' this site has on their main page is actually ridiculous.
They linked to a topless shot of miley cyrus the other day, fair enough all you could see was side boob but if someone on the boards linked to that they'd be warned or banned.
It's gossipy shit, they actually have the potential to write decent articles about something but instead they decide to pit girls bodies against each other and rag on someones fashion or hair.

It's what they think teens want to see....
Sad part is that's what teens respond to, and they're not wrong about it. Sure you may get some teenagers wanting to read about the famine or other political issues, but it won't go as well as they want. Maybe if they did movie reviews or something...

It pisses me off more that they vary between actually posting something decent like gay rights etc and then they fill the rest of the space with mindless gossip. Pick one. Pisses me off when i actually click on a decent one and it's full of spammy wee fucks that don't know a thing about anything.
It's good, took me a while to fall asleep the first night with it in but it's stopped my clenching from doing so much damage. Not so much pain and my temp filling hasn't been broken yet.
Alsooo i don't have to pay for anymore of my appointments related to my root canal apparently, i had an apt on Thursday and apparently I'm paid up
Which means i may actually be able to afford some glasses if i need them after my eye test tomorrow.
Do not want to go to that.
How was your weekend away?

I'm glad the guard works. Would suck to go through that icky tack to have it be useless

Do they dilate you pupils for the eye test? Here they don't unless they think that something is wrong and want a better look. The only thing I hate about the eye doctor is feeling stupid because I can't read the damn letters and being lectured about not wearing my glasses often enough.
It was alright. On Saturday ( I think ) I was so tired that I went to bed at 2pm and slept for like 3 hours. But we had fun hanging out, and I have heard back from two of the jobs that I've applied to so far....

If i want to order another one in the next three months they use the same mould too so i don't have to do it again

I don't spit it out in the middle of the night either so that's a plus.
I don't know, i haven't had my eyes tested since i was...14.
Pretty sure the whole thing has changed since then. Probably going to need glasses for reading and using the computer though, i needed them last time and my eye sight hasn't gotten any better.
I could never decide which colour was more in focus and they always needed me to choose one, so they spent forever flicking back between two.
What did you apply for? What did they say?

Applied for administrative assistant for Lightyear Media and school-aged child care worker for YMCA. Well, those are the two that got back to me. Also youth housing support worker, developmental services worker, etc. I put in 9 applications, and then mailed resumes to 10 organizations that I want to work at. So we'll see. I also signed up for a card at the employment agency there so I can access their job bank.
You mean the letters in the green square and the red square? My eye doctor was getting frustrated with me for that. The red square looks fuzzy around the edges but the letters show up fine. But the fuzziness distracts me...

I need glasses again for reading or using the computer.
The optician said i have Astigmatism in my right eye which doesn't surprise me, I'm well aware that my eye sight is different in each eye.
I got two pairs of glasses because it was 2 for 1, bit pissed off i ended up with two of the same pair because their selection was shite though.

Are they interested in hiring you?
At least there are quite a few jobs up there that you'd be interested in working for, so that's a plus.
Yea, the colours fuck with my eyes. I'm too busy trying to un fuzz the colours to notice which is better.
I hate it when they ask you which lens is better as well, i am too indecisive!
Mine didn't seem to mind me being so indecisive but i had a spam moment where he asked me to look left and i couldn't remember which way was left, he had to point

When is the best time of year to hit up Europe?
Wouldn't want to go in icky snow weather. If it's too cold then you'd need a coat and that's more luggage to carry around. But if you go in the summer (June to end of August) that's tourist season and the rates are probably higher.

If it's the UK....there's never a good time, it's always raining.
I'd probably say before summer, i can't say what the rest of europe is like weather wise but usually after feb/march we have none snowy/rainy weather.

Thanks for even letting me dream about this for like 10 minutes. Last time I bring anything like this up to you.
And congratulations that your parents actually aren't afraid of getting on a plane and are willing to bring you to England to watch 'football'. I don't have that luxury. I have dreams.
Asshat.
