Hi, Adam. You're 17, how the fuck do you know that young people weren't like that in previous generations?

So you're basing your knowledge of teen behavior on the American Pie films?

No. Just no.
Just stop. It's pretty much a fact that this generation one of the worst in a long time. Sorry. I never heard tales of crap like that from my parents and grandparents. The worst story my parents ever told me is that when he was in high school (like 35 years ago), one of my uncles set fire to a mattress and got arrested. LOL. Other than that (from the stores they told me), they had a pretty innocent childhood considering.

You're 24. Thank you for enlightening me. NOT. You're not even old enough to remember generations in the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s, you probably don't remember much of the 80s either.
From what I've gathered from teachers and my family is that the current generation basically started in the early/mid 1990s. And I'd take their word over some uneducated, young 24 guy who thinks he is a gangster.
The people I talk to about past generations are 40 and older. It is pretty much an unstated fact that this is by far one of the worst generations, if you try to deny it then you're just ignorant.

Neither do you then. To be fair you're only 7 years older than me. You don't have much more life experience than I do. Just end it and lets stop the ignorance. I don't want to derail this thread.
But the other night I actually watched a real film, "Life is Happiness". I'm not a fan of foreign films but this one was really good. But I also thought it was extremely sad.

lol every generations thinks the kids these days are awful and that they were much better. This has been going on since ancient Greece if you bother to research it. Just because your parents dont tell you things they did doesnt mean they didnt do it. Also they didnt have widespread global communication as we have today, so only limited amount of people new what was going on. Just as example in states number of teen moms is lowest in last 70 years. It just seems there is ton of them because there is lot of media attention focused on them.
Cracked had awesome article about why people look at world this way but i unfortunately cant find it.

i really enjoyed it. non stop cool ass action all the way. nothing ground breaking and no great sequences of any note. but, it repaired some of the damage of the 3rd installment - no one cares about ethan hunts wife!

Deception - it was kind of sad film. And the ending was kind of happy, but I wasn't satisfied. And it wasn't the first time Michelle Williams had sex with Ewan McGregor on screen. In Incendiary she cheats on her hubby with him. Which kind of makes me sad because I thought they really loved each other in this movie. *shrugs*
