Finally got into a fantasy league. It's looking disorganized and the head man is pretty peculiar with his rules but meh.
It makes me sad when my favorite prospects get shipped from team to team. I suppose Jeff Larish and Mike Hessman are done for. I always loved Larish's patient approach and thought he would stay with Oakland for a while, but nope. And Hessman had lots of pop, but just never got a chance at the big league level. He was stuck behind Chipper Jones, Brandon Inge, Miguel Cabrera and David Wright.

So much for humility; what a damn child. Statistically our best pitcher, in this young organization; and now public enemy no. 1.
The philosophers and theologians, the beautiful people, had their jobs in the monasteries and universities but science owes more to the people who sold their soul, or at least their health, to the devil for knowledge. These were the people who actually went down to the laboratories and did the dirty work to see how the world actually works.

This is the first time ever that I've been completely comfortable with the Tigers and their chances to get to the playoffs and further. *Knock on wood*
Verlander was amazing on opening day, but didn't get the win because of a blown save. I had a bad feeling about Valverde this year, and his opening performance fed that. Nothing good happens after a 49-49 SO season
I can't wait to see how Fister does against Boston tomorrow.
Drew Smyly should get his first start against the Rays. Glad to see Carlos Pena, one of my favorites, get a grand slam off from CC Sabfattia and a game-winning knock off from Rivera.
The April schedule is pretty tough with Boston, Tampa, Texas and Chicago on the calender, but I think that this team is ready to be that top team.

Stopped by downtown on business, but ended up staying for a non-scheduled Coors game.
Got some tickets from the corner; might join the "FreeBelt" movement going on at the south-end of the stadium while I burn some time 'till the game.
Rockies need to get a win here - Lincecum or not.
Oh, and because of MLB's At-Bat app, I can't listen to games on the i♥Radio app. Infuriating.Last edited by Junior-17; 04-11-2012 at 05:04 PM.

Mercy! That game was incredible - I tend to pick the best nights. Glad I went. I thank the Rox for giving Timmeh his worst career outing. I hate him, both, as a person and a player.

Okay - not really, but he is a PMSing dingbat.Last edited by Junior-17; 04-12-2012 at 12:11 AM.

The title of that book is pretty funny lol
Drew Smyly had his major league debut today!
4IP of one-run ball is pretty good. Rough first inning but then Leyland was like "hey stop being a pussy" and he was like "okay Jim" and it was good from there on out.
I never knew/cared much about Prince Fielder before, but he is turning out to me more than just a home-run hitting guy. I'm glad for that. Cabby is too.The Killer in me is the Killer in you

What an amazing game; Todd Helton - the legend - for HOF.

This was worth about 15 bucks, before the first pitch of the perfect game. I tried to search for anything that I might have; But I only found Phillip Cuadrado cards.
Congrats to Humber, and the White Sox fans/organizations.
