Default Latin Poetry

heeey,
was wondering if anyone was interested in latin poetry
i mean, i've got latin classes and we studie and translate letters

now we're reading Plinius,
he wrote lots of letters, one of them is to his wife Calpurnia(she's +- 16 he's +- 42)

this is one of my favourites
C. PLINIUS CALPURNIAE SUAE S.

Unum tempus his tormentis caret, quo in foro et Samicorum litibus conteror. (2) Aestima tu, quae vita mea sit, cui requies in labore, in miseria curisque solacium. Vale.

he uses a great metonymy "Pars Pro Toto" he turns back from the "Empty Doorstep" wich obvisouly is the the empty room

my second fav is by Catullus "Vivamus mea lesbia atque amemus..."
What's u're fav latin poem,

I have a Latin rhyme.

Mica, mica, parva stella,
Miror quaenam sis tam bella.
Super terra in caelo,
Alba gemma splendido.
Mica, mica, parva stella,
Miror quaenam sis tam bella.

Fabulous prizes if you can guess it.*

*No fabulous prizes
