The series was cancelled a long time ago, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise. I thought Summerland sucked, but as a fan of many worthwhile cancelled shows let me tell you, just be glad that they bothered to show the episodes they'd already made or had been in the process of finishing before cancellation. Some shows don't get that.
