I thought it was pretty good, but everyone else said it was crap! what did you think?

I didnt like it at all! I left 3/4 of the way through. I can see how some ppl liked it cause the effects and lighting and everything was really good. But I HATED how there wasnt an actual story, and everything was soo far fe tched and you could tell people were acting and you couldn't really pretend that it was real like most movies. It seemed that all it was about was killing people..with no actual story.

OMG I LOVED IT IT WAS GREAT AND ITS EXAVTLY THE WAY IT WAS IN THE COMIC AND OMG THAT GUY WITH THE NAILS WAS WELL FREAKY LOL AND THE PROSTITUTS THAT RUN DOWN TOWN WER WELL KOOL A BIT STRANGE LOL BUT KOOL AND ITS DEFANATLY ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IV EVER SEEN BUT I DIDNT GET THE END BIT OF IT WHER THAT ONE PROSTITUTE IS IN THE ELIVATOUR WITH THAT GUY WHATS THAT SUPOST TO MEAN????? LOL

ITS COZ IT WAS A COMIC SIN CITY AND THATS WHY THE MOVIE IS THE WAY IT IS A MEAN U DANT READ A COMIC AND IT DID HAVE AN ACTUAL STORY BECAUSE THERE WERE LOTS OF STORYS IN IN AND THEY WERE INTERTWINED WHITH THE IMAGES AND PLACES AND OF COURSE IT WAS FAR FECHED IT WAS FROM A COMIC I KNOW I WOLDENT READ A COMIC THAT WAS BORING AS HELL COZ COMICS ARE MAD AND FAR FECHED ARNT THEY THO I MEAN BATMAN STARTED OUT LIKE THAT AND SUPERMAN AND THE FANTASTIC 4 AND A HELL LOAD OF OTHERS AND WHAT THER NOT FAR FRCHED LOL

The Comics are fantastic, from what I hear the film follows true to the comics form. Rourke seems to be a perfect choice for Marve and looking at Willis in the promo pics he seems like a good match for Heartigan, though maybe he is a little on the young side.

I want to know which part from the comics Tarantino directed, if he has left any of his tells in it I would hope to be able to spot it but Rodriguez strikes me as having a Tarantinoesque style, especially now that he has been getting close to old Quentin so I don't know if I'll spot it.

Haven't seen it yet but is it a 18 as I'm not sure what age it is, doubt it matters anyway.

was there actually a plot somewhere in there?? totally made no sense even though it looked awesome wit good special effects.

My current band's demos

I thought it was really great. The cinematography was dark, and new. Very similar to film noir but more modern. Hard to explain but really good. The acting not amazing but good performances, a really diverse group of actors that appeal to everyone.
