College football > college basketball. Therefore the best rivalry in college football > college basketball.
Moreover, you guys met for the first time in 1920. OSU-Michigan met before the turn of the goddamn 20th century.

We were the better team against OSU in the first quarter...but our turnover experts are at it again.
Edit: Should be 7-6..oh well.
Noticed the Big House seems to have just as much, if not more, red than maize/blue.. :/ (other than student section of course) guess Michigan fans weren't very confident.

Michigan hasn't been the better team in the last many quarters.

Yeah, story of the season.
Les miles
What an idiot, his explanation was they knew they didn't have time to kick a field goal, so why spike it? Only option is to throw a play there.
And why did he let the clock run out after 3rd down? I noticed that and was like wtf is he doing?

I was wondering the same thing. It pissed me off; LSU is my 3rd favorite team, pretty much.
They needed to run a play, and when I saw Jefferson turn for a play I was yelling expletives like crazy.

I liked OU's and OSU's unis today, though. I bought one of OU's jerseys. =/

Going to keep it long? lol.
Damn. Kansas State can't stop the run, and then they get up close and let them pass on them. It's hopeless, I think.

Yeah LSU is one of my favorites as well.
And I just thought about this...I don't remember who they were playing, and I don't remember if it was last year or the year before, but does anyone else recall when LSU had like 5 seconds on the clock, down by 3, and were in field goal range (around the 20 I believe) and ran a miraculous passing play to win the game?
No one questioned Miles then because he won, but thinking back..that could have been a disaster as well, at the time I remember thinking that Miles and the QB had no concept of how long they actually had and were doing terrible clock management and were extremely fortunate that low percentage play worked when they had an easy chip shot to tie it up.
Maybe Les is just awful when it comes down to the final seconds?

I think it was against Auburn or Bama. That situation was different though because they were going for the win instead of the tie, in Miles' fashion.

Les Miles showed extremely poor judgement. "We didn't have time to get the kicker out...", Les; YOU DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO LOSE THE GAME!!! Terrible coaching management, and the team probably left their Cotton Bowl hopes in Mississippi as well.

I'd like to see OU beat OSU next week in the Bedlam though...would at least redeem the season and destroy the pokes' BCS hopes. I think the Sooners can do it.
Little reason for change this week:
1. Florida (tie) - didn't do anything worth discussing.
1. Alabama (tie) - see above.
1. TCU (tie) - Finally got a chance to compare themselves with Texas through a mutual opponent. Wyoming gained less than 200 yards on the stout Frogs' defense...and got nearly 300 on Texas' back in September. Every statement TCU makes is louder than the last, yet money speaks louder. Sad situation indeed.
4. Cincinnati - Need their defense to show up before they can dream of BCS possibilities.
5. Texas - Allowing Kansas 20 points is somewhat of a disappointment. Falling flat against in-state rival A&M would be a massive disaster.
6. Boise - Really needs the horrendously overrated act of OSU to lose in order to ensure the first ever 2nd non-AQ team in a BCS season.
7. Oregon - That was a fun game out in the desert...too bad 90% of the nation was getting treated to Texas scoring meaningless points in the 4th quarter instead.
8. Georgia Tech - Just give them next week's game and cut down the injury risk...we all know the Bulldogs couldn't beat a pop warner team at this point.
9. Pittsburgh - December 5th decides the whole season...it's either Orange Bowl selection, or Meinke Car Care bowl.
10. Ohio State - That was quite possibly the worst Michigan-OSU game ever. When OSU has no real reason to win, and Bitchrod still can't motivate his team enough to make it close...that's a good sign that you just made a huge hiring mistake. Things will only get worse next season in the Big House.
Just outside: Iowa, Penn State, Clemson

I think that there is no way in hell Penn State should be considered for the BCS. They have played two good teams in my opinion; Iowa, and Ohio State. The results of those two games were not in Penn State's favor by quite a bit.
Iowa, however, has beaten Penn State, who at the time were ranked high if that should mean anything additionally, they defeated Arizona as well as having a really close game at Ohio State, with their 2nd string QB (third string TB also) nonetheless.
Boise State beat Oregon earlier this year, and by quite a bit if you really watched the game. However, since then the haven't been very impressive, even with their mediocre schedule. I don't think they deserve a shot at a BCS game until they really play someone good on a regular basis. It annoys me though because I have always said that if you go undefeated you deserve it, but do they really?
