I've only heard of one incident when a psychics predictions came true and it happened to my friends mom about thirty years ago on an island called Seychelles. But the psychic practiced black magic. But she DID predict two people that she knew would die and one would be pregnant. And it happened.
I know half of these people who post might say I'm bullshitting but I'm not.

I'm just saying that SOME of them aren't scams, some actually use supernatural powers & can predict stuff. Anything that goes into another realm that involves spiritism can be true.

But on the bright side, saying something as broad as 'someone you know will be pregnant' is a scam.
If she would have said the first letter of your name, your age, what grade your in, etc, THEN i would be worried :]

Now, if a psychic could ACTUALLY predict the future and could make 10 predictions and have all 10 of them come true, that would be something. That person could change the world. That person could earn millions of dollars, solve thousands of crimes, save milions of people from nature disasters.

But no. It's not that way. Psychics throw out dozens of predictions in readings, over 90% of said predictions tend to be insanely broad, or by definition true.

"You're a private person, but sometimes you like to get out" - Sounds profound, by definition true
"You've thought about writing a book" - True for 90% of people
"You'll be having a career change soon" - "Soon" is subjective, also true for 90% of people, possibly self-fulfilling

Who it happened to really isn't important. The fact of the matter is that it was 1 prediction out of perhaps thousands that happened to come true. That's going to happen occationally.

On a personal level, I will agree with you in that some people do have certain psychic abilities. My friends mother gave me a tarot reading once that was eerily accurate. But a majority of the time, psychics are frauds. In this case, it doesn't matter if this particular psychic is or isn't, as scientifically it's extremely unlikely for the OP to be pregnant. I believe that's what she wanted to know, not some validation that the psychic gave a true reading.
