JROTC rules.

And if I get the chance to do it again, I would do it in a heartbeat. Good program, great teachings, and of course, good elective credits

I was in it for four years. It probably changed my life more than anything else has. I met so many people I'm still friends with 2 years out of HS, and I had the most incredible time. I met most everyone important to me there.

I went to Navy Nationals twice and was 1st place individual academics in Florida my senior year and 5th individual junior year. I was good.

I'm in Army JROTC right now as a LET IV Bravo Company Commander. I have been in JROTC since 8th grade and it has really changed my life. I've met some amazing people (and some not so amazing people) and if I could go back (knowing what I know now) I most likely would still join, although I might not have done it this year because of all the stupid drama that's going on.

I have been on drill team since 8th grade. Color Guard since 10th. Exhibition (armed) since 10th. As well as a few weeks on Honor Guard last year. I was on Drill, CG and Ex at the begining of the year but the way they set the practices up this year made it to hard for me to do that plus church, youth group, senior DVD club, as well as keep up my academics and work on college so I dropped it.

Good stuff, AJROTC is the way to go (I was in AJROTC too) I didn't know they offer JROTC to middle school kids though, only thought for high school kids. (Or maybe my school didn't offer it) Just me, if I can still be in it, I wouldn't even drop it for the world. I love JROTC, it rules

I wish I would have done it, knowing now that I chose to join the Marine Corps. It could have given me some direction when I was in high school and ultimately, benefited me after joining the Corps.
