Celtics are rolling, I'm happy with 5/55 for Rondo, and I hope Glen Davis never comes back because I think he's horribly overrated.
I thought Carmelo would have an excellent season, but he's just been absurdly good so far. Can not believe how well the Rockets are playing- Morey may actually be a genius, and Adelman is coaching the shit out of them.
I'm pretty shocked at the Cavaliers- I know they want to keep Z as Shaq insurance, but they may seriously want to consider dealing him Jackson because they are an old, slow team especially with both of them on the court (which is a terrible line up).
Anyone else?

Amazing deal for Rondo considering the extensions other players in his draft class have received, and only Brandon Roy is better. Heard Carmelo was playing out of his mind, hope he makes another leap so he can possibly make a run at being among the top class players in the NBA player in the NBA (positions currently held by Kobe, LeBron, Howard, Wade, Duncan and Paul). I believe in the Rockets. That is a TEAM in every sense of the word. Not surprised considering the winning streak they had a couple years back when Yao was injured for the majority of the time. Cavs are not in the elite of the East. They absolutely need someone like Jackson even if it costs them cap flexibility. They would matchup well against Boston and Orlando with Jackson and LeBron at the forward spots instead of having someone like Varejao (liability on offense) or Parker (not big or strong enough to guard a Lewis or Pierce).
I hope my Raptors actually win a playoff round this year!

I thought Melo was gonna kill it this year too. And he's not doing too bad.
Lakers will get their chemistry going in 5 or 6 games, and it'll be San Antonio vs. Lakers in the West Finals. Orlando vs Boston in Eastern. Can't say more than that because all of those teams have a great shot at the title.

I'm thinking it's gonna be Spurs over the Magic in 7.
Magic are playing fairly well despite missing Carter and Lewis now.
I don't think Carmelo will ever better any of guys I listed (possibly Wade if Carmelo wins a championship, who knows). I want to see more competition so someone like LeBron or Kobe has the incentive to raise their games to a higher level. If Kevin Durant learns to play defense and can become a leader, I believe he'll get to that class as well.

Liking the love the Spurs are getting.
I think its going to be them and the Celtics in the Finals, Cs just look like theyre way too good out East...Im a Spurs fan but I dont even know if we can beat them in a seven game series. Its going to be tough but just glad the Spurs are relevant again. BTW did yall see Manu bitchslap that bat on Halloween? That guy is a legend.

College Basketball is about 100 Times better than Pro Basketball but College Hockey is better than both combined.

So back to NBA talk
I'm against physical attacks on flying creatures during games, but damnn Manu is the man!!
I think the Spurs were always relevant. Last year was just a bad year cause they had no one good left for the playoffs other than Duncan, Parker with Bonner and Mason making cameos here and there. They are much deeper this year. I think they can beat the Celtics and that Orlando is a tougher matchup come playoff time. I think they need a good backup small forward as well as a 'tweener' forward that will allow them to play small.

76ers will lose in the first round the Playoffs again then everyone in Philly will forget about the team like a second thought.

It's tough in Philly for them to get noticed. Flyers have been a pretty good team for the last few years, Phillies are in the World Series, Eagles are usually in the playoff discussoin every year. They don't have a star player (Iguodala or Brand doesn't do it for me). They need someone of Iverson's caliber (00' Iverson when he was with the Sixers) to come back to the team to fill the seats so they don't lose more money.

Only time i hear about the Sixers is when there in the Playoffs or they beaten the Celtics or the Knicks these days.
My Girlfriend is a Sixers fan she's a pretty big Philly Sports fan and it was her who dragged me to a game one night and the atmosphere killed it for me there was no wow factor like he's a star which is a shame cause i remember the 00's team from the few games that i saw and i thought they were building in the right direction but somethig obviously went horribly wrong.
Now i don't hate Basketball i watch College Basketball when it's on tv i just don't like the NBA for some reasons I'm not going indulge in.

I like your predictions.
I'm thinking..
MVP: LeBron James
ROY: Blake Griffin (I know he's injured now, but he's the best of the class)
DPOY: Dwight Howard
6th Man: Jason Terry
MIP: Jeff Green
COTY: Gregg Popovich
Finals: Spurs over Magic in 7.
