My point is that his way of putting the fetus existence as "not a fully developed" human being that had not achieved self-awareness could be applied to a great deal of the population and is thus a shitty definition for the type of point he was attempting to make.

...your question is if someone would be ok with having something done to their body, AFTER their dead. A dead person is incapable of caring what you do with their body. Besides, if anything I'd rather have something useful done with my body then just have it buried in a box to rot. If I'm done eating a steak and you wanna chop up what's left and feed it to your dog why do I give a shit? It's not a waste, I was just gonna throw it out anyway.

Let's not get in to animal treatment in the meat industry here, I could go on for a year about the horrors of the meat and poultry industries in this country, and that's without getting help from my vegetarian friends!(fyi, I myself am not a vegetarian)

They use the unwanted (waste) parts of animals now and reuse it. (Obviously it is clean and wasn't pulled out of a dumpster). Apparently it's to allow poor people who can't afford to eat meat to eat..meatish products.

You can basically get a Chicken Kiev now at a competative price. Only 40% chicken. :]

My point here was that taking waste products and using them for development is a good thing. We waste too much as it is.

And like Vodka has said. Companies use animal products; such as shark, in their make up. I am pretty sure however the Shark wasn't found dead and being used as a waste product. With all these aborted fetuses etc we can reduce the amount of animal killing and recyle what we already have instead of throwing it away.

I mean fetuses aren't buried usually. They're thrown in the bin with all the other waste body parts.
