You are alone. Of the thousands of seniors currently applying to colleges right now,you are the only one who is stressed over applications and grades and other committments.
Also, it's pretty weird that you're scared to leave your friends and family and go off to college. You may want to seek help about that.

Not everyone wants to start a completely new life though. I mean, I have mixed feelings because I love being at the top of my school, and entering a new world well, I'll be at the bottom again but I do feel your pain about being stressed and over-whelmed :]

The feelings you mention are completely normal - especially for those that plan to leave home in order to pursue their college educations.
I am more a family-orientated individual so I decided to stay home during university study. It all depends on who you are as an individual - living alone, with complete strangers or with family and friends?

Don't let these very minor feelings and uncertainty prevail over your overall objective - post secondary education that equips you with the knowledge necessary to contribute progressively to society.

All the best

You are definitely not alone.I haven't even started thinking about applications. As for starting a new school, I'm just going to a small college in my town that a bunch of my friends are going to. I'm going to live with my parents for a few years. My life won't change too much.

Deffinatly not alone...but now that I have been accepted some where some of the stress is gone...well replaced with new stress,,,like prices/financial aid/roommates/gear/and all that fun stuff. But at the same time I am excited as hell to go...a whole new life style, new friends, new freedom and more to learn.
