I like the style of the piece, but it isn't finished...and it doesn't look finished. Overall nice approach and style.

For future reference, don't ever say that. If you're going to be lazy about your project at least lie about it.

Id appreciate it if you didnt tell me how to go about making my own art, thanks. I also dont feel like i owe you, a stranger, an explination.

i think she meant she didnt feel it was necessary, that it wouldnt contribute to her idea of what the piece should be, not that she just didnt want to do it.
god, some people are so bitchy.

Sorry, I thought you wanted a critique. I wasn't mean about it, I was honest and that's the kind of questions/feedback you would get if you brought that into one of my classes. If you're interested in art you need to defend your shit.

I don't doubt that you don't have talent, I just don't like this piece.
Personal preference I guess...

I adore chalk pastel, I got my only 20/20 on art class a couple years ago using it.
And I really like your drawing too!

I dont feel that what you said was a critique, i felt you were trying to catch me at a fault that i dont believe was there. The way i see it is, its my piece, and im well aware of how i want it to look and the feeling it has. Yes, the unfinished hands were partly because i just didnt want to draw them, which is my choice as the artist, and because it went along with the fading look of the piece as a whole. If you still feel like im lacking defense, scroll up, and reread.
