Let's all display our geeklitism here by harshly judging this unreleased game.

Firstly I must say I'm dissapointed they continued with the same art direction. Akira Toriyama's art, while not sucking sucking, is really a bad idea for an MMO, the only difference between the characters will be race sex and hair colour. Not that this matters really because I'm almost certain I'd be the only person who doesn't try to create Goku/Piccolo.

Secondly I have to say fuck yeah. I'm going to get this when it comes out even though I know it will be horrible, but not BECAUSE I know it will be horrible (like I will be doing with the dragonball liveaction movie.)

wow, i knew about this like 6 months ago or even longer, a beta exist in japan and korea i think

The character creation only seems to be a SLIGHT improvement over Diablo 2's. Seriously, I don't know why you'd look forward to that.

And Dragonball Z is a proper noun, you don't Britishize foreign proper nouns.

not that i actually care, and only said it originally for shits and giggles, but if my baseless assumptions are correct, DBZ would be japanese? who wouldnt call it by an english name? so the pronounciation of DBZ in english would therefore be open to debate, but has adopted the "zee" sound based upon american influence?

Sorta. I don't think there was ever a "Dragonball Z" in Japan, just "Doragon Bōru" of course that doesn't really matter too much. The point is FUNimation bought rights to dub the Doragon Bōru animation in English, and they named it "Dragonball Z"

If they did another dub/whatever for the Brittish speaking crowd, you might have a point there (depending on what they called it) but we're just getting the American show, so it's Dragonball Z.

Though, let me point out we are all wrong because it is actually just Dragonball MMORPG

I don't know who's developing the game, but it's more than likely it's being made to appeal to the Korean MMO market. With that in mind, we already know it's going to be a bad game. A bad game with a Dragonball license.
