X-Men 2 lived up to the hype. The third one should be just a good if not better, depending on how they take the story line

It was awesome. I never saw the first one, but this one definately lived up to the hype.

The movie was VERY well done, and that is saying a lot considering that I am a HUGE X-men fan and know way more than the average person at that theater.

*****PROBLEMS*******

The fact that Collosus was NOT russian like he should have been, and his sister was no where to be seen. which is odd because he doesnt go anywhere without her.

Lady Deathstrike (Yuriko) does NOT have a healing factor at all...and should have died when wolvering stabbed her the first F***ing time.

Beast was on the news and looked fairly old. He became blue and hairy after an experiment in college, therefore should have already been blue.

Nightcrawler is Mystique's son, and this issue was not addressed at all in the movie between the two.

That serum think that they put on the back of their necks, was like....just pulled out of the writer's ass...seriously, it had no explanation or ANYTHING with it in the movie at all.

*****REALLY GOOD THINGS*******

Pyro's development was astounding, and the way that they worked that out with Magneto influencing him as well was great.

Nightcrawler's character was perfect to the 'T'. I'm glad they kept true to his character in the comics.

I'm glad that Wolverine finally F***ed some shit up. He seriously kicked the ass in this movie that was majorly lacking from the first one.

The love triangle with Wolverine, Jean, and Cyclops was a lot more expanded in this movie, but they haven't really added to Scott's character enough to make me feel really attached to him. that was a small downside (and by the way even Jean Grey admits in the movie that girls go for the jerks)

In the end the movie was a complet total blast, however i am seriously doubting the third movie is going to be good. If you want me to say why, I will...but I don't want to spoil it till i get input.

(this is more-or-less to pathrifter) If I thought mystique didnt talk, am I wrong and mixing her up with the chameleon? Cus I dont remember her talking in the first one.

Actually, they did explain it, but only passingly.

Some small spoilers...don't read this is you haven't seen the movie yet, okay?

When Stryker had Xavier in captivity and he brought Jason in, did you notice the device coming out of the back of his head? Stryker mentioned that Jason's brain secreted a sort of mind-control fluid. I imagine that was what he was using.

When was Beast on the news, by the way? I must not have been paying attention...

And I have to ask...why the doubts about the next sequel?

I know everyone knows about the reference to Beast (Dr.McCoy being on the news and all) but did anyone else get the Gambit reference? Well, I havnt seen it, but my friend did, and said when mystique is on the computer, a name pops up (Remi Legaut) and thats gambits real name.

So yeah... hopefully that means Gambit will be in X-3, cus he rocks.

it was so long!!!, I HATE long movies...I work with the guy who plays Colosus(had 1 line and 2 scenes), he's the big guy who carries the kids out when the place is attacked and hes at the end as well ..rumor is he got paid $80,000 for that or maybe he's getting paid $80,000 for X Men 3 and he got to go to England. lucky bastard.

Rogue (Anna Paquin) is my friend's cousin... or second cousin, I'm not sure. But she's bloody hot.

I originally didn't want to see this movie, not being a comic fan and not seeing the first one. However, I saw it and it was very very good. The fight scenes were awesome, and I caught on to the storyline very quickly, so I didn't feel lost either.

T'was good.

ending was wicked..cause i read the comics about the pheonix and stuff and knew what was going

Mmm...this was a delicious movie, indeed. Loved the first one, nearly orgasmed in the theatre during the second one. So bloody cool.

SPOILERS

Gambits real name is Remy Lebeu (or saaing like that), and is so alphabetically just above Erik Lencher (Magnetos "human name").

Strykers son, jason, secreted or had harvested from him the mind control suggestion fluid. I said harvested as he had scars on his head, preumably from some operation.

Agreed on Collosus not being Russian, that irked me (much to the girl i was withs confusion, as I was ranting and she did'nt quite know why).

The relationship between mystique and nightcrawler, as well as Lady Deathstrikes healing factor is up to the directors interpretation. The movie is NOT meant to be set in the same continutiy as the comics, just like Spider-man wasnt, and the Hulk probably wont. Its all up to dramatic liscence. (A level drama student here - my apologies :D)

I dont think mystique did talk in the first one, that doesnt mean she cant (she obviously can talk, as she talks while impersonating people, she just didnt use her natural voice).

Also, its blatantly obvious what X3 is going to be about..especially given the last shot of *it* under the water. I just wonder how they'll deal with it in movie world.

END SPOILERS

Overall I didnt really like the film. Cyclops is still a tard. ITS WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO LONG. Pyro was sh*t. It was so f*cking obvious what was going to happen with him. Wolverine kicked ASS. Thats what I wanna see. I did enjoy Collosus's cameo, but was also unhappy due to reasons stated above.

I was going to write a proper review, but I didnt like it, and dont want to discourage anyone else from going to see it.

Hint: Buy popcorn and a drink. Even if its expensive. You'll need it.

Nobody is going to read your stupid review because everybody liked it.

You focus too much on the small details that nobody cares about.
