That car was speeding
She was innocent
God was pleading
My mind in torment
That car slammed the brake
She suddenly screamed
It’s not God’s mistake
I wish it only a dream
That car wasn’t in time
She was knocked to the ground
It wasn’t God’s crime
I shrieked without sound
That car ran over her body
She lay in her own blood
God’s world became shoddy
my tears became a flood
No use in putting blame
She was so young
A good life, what a shame
A new day will come
-by me, julie
to my friend beyond the grave
She was innocent
God was pleading
My mind in torment
That car slammed the brake
She suddenly screamed
It’s not God’s mistake
I wish it only a dream
That car wasn’t in time
She was knocked to the ground
It wasn’t God’s crime
I shrieked without sound
That car ran over her body
She lay in her own blood
God’s world became shoddy

No use in putting blame
