this is definitely a new one for me...titled, and a kind of (depressingly i guess) sappy love poem...how quaint...i know its not my best work, but i got bored in sociology. :D

gratify my
self-indulgent cruelty
let me
see your heartbreak
fresh on your cheeks
let me
drink from the rivers
of hurt
that burst forth
in waves, from your eyes
even as their
lukewarm tide
fills the empty spaces
within me.
