I can't wait till the second movie comes out!! I saw The Fellowship about 3 times!! Legolas is just soo cute!!! ^__^

I feel sorry for Frodo though.. Everything bad just seems to happen to him..

Anyone who has read the second book will know about what is comming in the second part of the movie...

My girlfriend is a nut for J.R.R. Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings. I think she wishes that I had furry feet. I just thought that you might like to know.

For some reason that movie always calmed me down. Probably just the scene where Strider's wife picks up Frodo.

The second book has so many srewy things in it..I don't know how they are going to do it.

i finally bought the dvd today, im watching it fer my third time...

i never wanted to see that movie...it just didnt catch my eye when they showed pre-views...i dont wanna see it either really

i didn't c the movie in theaters but i bought it and its pretty good! just like i imagined it when i read it...and i didn't knoe they got married in the last book!!!!!!! darn well i don't have 2 read it nemore ppl keep tellin me wut happens, hehe

Noooo, still read the book. The book is very good, and it just wouldn't be cool if you stopped reading it.

i have the dvd and watched it 3 times at the cinema, its good. :D i started reading the book but got bored cos i went for ages without reading it, then picked it up at the council of elrond which is the most boring chapter.

I'm awaiting the 'extended violence scenes' on the boxset.

i have read the book, and the seconed movie is going to be so good, i got the ring from the movie it comes on a chain and you can only buy it if you have the movie. i love it.

I only read The Hobbit in english. I didn't like it A WHOLE lot to actually read all the others. I did see the movie though, it was cool. Long... but cool. I want to see the next one! And the next... and the next...

the movies are good, but they leave out to much from the books. they never inculded tom in the first movie. that sucks. he was cool with all his rhyming and stuff.

In the second movie pippin and merry escape from the orcs just before the orcs get slaughtered

And strider gets that sword reforged

no, he gets the sword reforged in the first one. the elves in rivendale restore the sowrd that belonged to isildur's father and give it to aragaron. and gandalf's sword is suppossed to glow blue when orcs are around. frodo's dagger(sword) wasn't given to him by bilbo, and the others didn't get them from aragaron, they got them from tom, and sting is the sword that frodo got from tom, only it broke cause when he was being taken to rivendale(not by arwin) the dude taking him sends him off the rest of the way into the villgae and frodo brakes it by mistake, and the water thing was done by elrons and gandalf made white knights appear in the water.

Shadowscythe I hate to be rude but your off a good bit. Bilbo did give Frodo Sting, and it wasn't broke. And it was horses in the water. I would say more but i'm too tired

I think they did a great job on the first movie...it was already 3 hours long as it is...adding every detail into the book to it would tack on another 2+ hours.

i saw a trailer from the second 1. looks kick ass

I'm looking forward to it so much. The first movie rocked.
