You provide me with daily food
and you are never ever rude.
you are always fair to me
and you always think first to care for me.
since i was born you‘ve been my role model,
since i was drinking from the bottle,
since i slept in that crib
and wore my food on that stupid bib.
you taught how to run and walk
and always listened to my rambling talk,
you studied with me for quizzes and tests
and made me strive to be my best.
you showed my how to play football ball
and also how to stand tall.
you explained the ways and works of life
and let me experience all of it’s strife,
you let me go when i needed space
cause you knew I'd come back for your comforting face.
you guided me as i grew up,
into a 16 year old son who still screws up
i know you’ll always be there, and caring,
your jokes will always be square, yet daring
i know your cloths we’ll still share
so make sure you have some to spare
I'm becoming a man and i’m getting a clue,

but my only wish is that one day

i wasnt written for fathers day but when it was finished i decided to make it about my dad and then i figured fathers day is close. so i think i will give it to him. good timing huh.
