Space Balls, Robin Hood: Men in Tights , All the Naked Gun Movies & Mrs. Doubtfire are all great comedies, but a comedy will never be the best movie ever. They isn't to say they aren't funny as hell. I love a good stupid comedy and all of the above are just that, stupid comedy.

Now if you want to get serious about best Movies of all time here is a small list of great Movies:

1. Good Will Hunting
2. The Godfather
3. Tombstone
4. Unforgiven
5. Shawshank Redemption
6. The Usual Suspects

I'm sure I'm still missing a few great Movies, but in my opinion these are some of the top movies of my time. Good Will Hunting is by far the best Movie of all time IMO.

I disagree with you strongly, while men in tights may be funny, it cannot possibly be considered the best movie ever. And honestly I doubt if it's possible for a comedy to be the greats movie ever, it would have to be something more series, something with gripping emotions or incredibly innovative.

Shawshank Redemption was a VERY good movie!

um...men in tights was gay. Fast and the Furious is the BEST...and so is Varsity Blues, that's gotta be my ALL TIME FAVE MOVIE!

Oh PLEASE, both of those movies are horrible insults to anything considered good.
Fast and the Furious: bad acting, bad script, no deep characters. It's just horrible, only someone interested in seeing a bunch of fast cars, or some other superficial crap, would like it.
Varisty Blues: the worst piece of mainstream conformist crap I've ever seen, except for maybe everything else MTV puts out (with the exception of Jackass). It's also a horrible movie, nothing good comes from watching it, you only get a bunch of unimaginative copycats making their own whipped cream bikinis, how idiotic.

yea id have to agree wit tyler on that one...as for men in tights bein the BEST movie ever...id have to disagree...it had its moments but i definately wouldnt consider it the best

well men in tights was hilarious but there are better things to watch when it comes to comedy....

2)spaceballs
3) office space
4) m.i.t.

It's hard to find a good, quality comedy now a days. They're all so corny. Robin Hood: Men in Tights, although a good movie, definitely wasn't the best. The only good comedies I've seen lately are Rat Race and Miss Congeniality. Here are a few other good movies (in my opinion) that I can think of off the top of my head.

Sorry, you guys, but I think you took me wrong when I said that Robin Hood: Men in Tightswas the BEST movie in the world. When I said that, I was saying it in that fake, superficial (sp), "OMG, that's so totally cool" way. That's the problem with the internet, you can never tell exactly how someone's saying something.
