"24" has to be the best TV show I have ever seen. It's not often that Fox puts out good series that aren't comedies, but they really did a great job putting together an action/thriller series here. This show is more exciting than half the so-called action movies I've seen. It has a great premise, great plot, and plenty of twists. Not to mention the cinematography! I've never seen a TV show use more than standard cinematography. The split-screen camera work they use in many scenes really gives a nice effect.
The show's done in "Real-time." It's 24 episodes and the show takes place over 24 hours, each episode being 1 hour. It has multiple storylines, so you don't end up watching one character the entire time.
Anyway, if you haven't watched the show at all, wait till they start the season over again or when/if they release it on DVD. Even after 6 episodes, so much has happened that someone who hasn't been watching will have missed a lot and it'd be hard to follow.
Wow, I really rambled on back there.
