There you are
waiting for me
hoping you'll be
what I have always asked for

Don't you see
I don't need love
kisses or hugs
I need something more...

What do you mean
that I've been remote?
I knew there was hope
I just couldn't find it...

I need your help
courage, support
I need you to show me
how do we go on

Don't leave me when I need you
don't go away tonight
you want me to be your lover
it's not that you're not right...

...but, please, let me ask you first:
haven't you ever felt
that you can't anymore do your best
but just lie there and wait?

that's how i feel tonight
no mood for games and lust
I just think that you must
listen to me at last...

(This poem was written to say that when someone has a problem love and sex isn't everything... there ia also support and encouraging in our lives. It's not one of the best I've written. I'd like you to judge it by if I've expressed my feelings in a right way, and not if I've used a nice poem tecnique).

PLEASE FORGIVE ANY MISTAKES, ENGLISH IS NOT MY NATIVE LANGUAGE. HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR :santa:

Wow, I think your poem is very deep and reaches almost everyone in every language. Even more impressive, english isn't your native language! You should be very proud! This is a wonderful poem! :D Keep writing!

I hav a funny little story to say B4 I go 2 work. Yesterday, I wantd 2 comment w/ a compliment 4 Ur poem aft I made that interesting statement of the fav.s 'n all. Well, bein that I can only go 2 libraries & school 4 computers I was writin that sentence & the stuck-up librarian came 'round & had me get off. I almost didn't finish the end of the statement, but she was tolerant (or patient).
Here's my real reply:
I wantd 2 say that Im really glad U had the heart 2 make that poem bcuz it hits home really deep. All pepl need 2 realize that love is not jus those 2 things U mentiond but more. And I also add that us guys need the ladies support also bcuz we somtimes get lost or really down--but somtimes we're 2 prided 2 show.
A poem that was well done for a well said reality with relationships. Ok, well I'm gonna split B4 I'm late &
To All Those This May Concern: I'm sorry I don't reply much but it's bcuz I don't hav much time on comp & stuff like that .

thanks everyone.
blue ice, thanks for your comments, i'm glad we have something in common.
i wrote this poem a very long time ago and to tell the truth, i didnt like it in the first place. i just posted it here because i post EVERYTHING i write and then i receive good or bad comments.
now i had to read it again after a long time and i realised it wasnt that bad.
again i dont think that it's so special written, but i'm glad you understood what i wanted to say- that sex, pleasant as it is, isnt everything and there's so much more than this in a relationship, such as support, trust and cooperation.
i feel i could have expressed this through a better work of mine but i'm very happy you liked it anyway.

"i feel i could have expressed this through a better work of mine but i'm very happy you liked it anyway"
If U wrote this ages ago as U mentiond, then we, the readers, would assume U can write better now so I think it's safe to say that this poem only intensifies our outlook of Ur potential.
I neglectd 2 say that I seem 2 really like Ur poems 2.
There's only 3 mayB 4 writers' work I don't like, but I won't mention them.
