Anybody see The Patriot yet? Any comments on it?

I never saw the movie myself, but I heard that the on screen death count was somewhere around 1000!!! I meen, isn't that enough deaths in one movie??

One Word: LONG...

Some advice: Refrain from drinking A 750 mL Coke in the first 10 minutes of the movie and then sitting through the rest of it.. You'll be sorry... :)

Anyway, it wasn't bad.. some historical inaccuracies... and a very typical Mel Gibson movie. I'd recomend it... not highly, but it wasn't bad.

It was pretty long, but I thought it was excellent. Deffinitally worth renting when it comes out on video. It's pretty hard to sit through the movie though, you might wanna take a break, so I suggest seeing it at home.
