I dunno about The Young Ones. Of course it's an amazing show but the reason why it was amazing is because they knew when to finish it before it ever got the chance to become crap.

Yeh I wouldn't want it to come back as how they are now...because what's the point in it being called the Young ones if they are all about 45 now.
I'd want it to come back when they were young.

I felt it wasn't funny by the time it had ended.
I'm glad it ended otherwise it would of made me not like the other episodes from the older days.

I'm glad it finished when it did.
I'm not sure how well it would work, but 'The League of Gentlemen'. and the 'Fast Show' are classic.

It's about 3 aliens (who of course look like humans) named Max Evans, Isabelle Evans (his sister) and Michael Guerin. They were in the Roswell Crash of '47 and were found in the desert when they were about 8 years old. (their age was estimated).

They all get adopted. Max and Isabelle go to a nice family, Michael gets put in foster care and ends up living in a trailor with this jerk of a foster dad.

One day there was a shooting at this place called the Crashdown Cafe, which is the cafe where a girl named Liz Parker works. (her parents own it). She ends up getting shot and Max saves her life by "healing" her. By doing this, he makes a major risk of exposing him and his alien relatives and who they are.

The show is amazing though. It's about them discovering who they are, both their human and alien side, and the humans that they end up loving and bring into their lives.

No, it's a drama though mostly. Lots of sci-fi stuff plus some teenage angst thrown in the mix too.

This is one show that I must say should have been kept on the air. It only made it three seasons but the series finale was quite incredible.
